Happening Now Around The World...

Today a lot has happened to the world:

1. China declares Petro-Yuan instead of petrodollar in oil purchases.
2. Catalonia declares independence from Spain.
3. 47 killed in FireWorks Factory in Indonesia
4. Pope Francis telephones ISS.

This petroyuan move by China wont be taken by the US sitting down. Re
member Iraq and Libya? They were removed and subsequently killed as they tried to leave the Petrodollar. These two however are weak countries unlike China and Russia. I dont think the US will go to war with China, knowing it could annihilate it too.

But the situation in Catalonia is different. I think Spain will not allow Catalonia to secede. It is with certainty then that war is inevitable, no doubt about it. Lets see whats gonna happen in the few days following.

In the Philippines, Fireworks have been banned except in duly designated places supervised by the govt. The accident in Indonesia could have been prevented thru strict regulations.

MARAWI CITY -- FREE FROM THE CLUTCHES OF ISIS/MAUTES

I could not help but rejoice at the news following the deaths of the terrorist leaders Hapilon and Maute. Consequently, the President on his 7th time in theCity, declared Marawi LIBERATED! Wow after so many lives lost both civilians and soldiers, the task of rebuilding and rehabilitating Marawi can begin and give the people back their normal lives turned upside down by these heartless terrorists!

Certainly, the cost is meganormous that will run into billions and will require the govt to realign its present budgets...cut here, trim there at the expense of BUILD, BUILD, BUILD. But thanks God there are foreign benovolent benefactors.

Just this morning i read of a huge ship, one of the biggest bulk carrier has docked in the port of Davao City loaded with rehab materials and equipments destined for Marawi. What a gesture of help! Whoever said that former enemy could NOT be the best of friends... while previous friends are ONLY friends when they can milk you WITH SO MANY STRINGS ATTACHED!

Anyway i said what i gotta said. What is good for today that beats all
the odds and nega news of recent days is Kenshin, the Samurai lol.

Last night we had a family dinner cuz our youngest sister, Tach just flew
in from Paris and threw a great dinner complete with lechon! Hahaha who would skip a dinner like that? Kenshin was there and ate his first lechon.
He cried too for the first time being surrounded by lolos, lolas, cousins and uncles/aunties. He must had been overwhelmed hahaha.

But he did recover and entertained us with a good piano piece hahaha.
Here is a video of his performance...

In Defense of the President...

Defending the President is a patriotic job to do. It chips away your fingernails constantly pounding the keyboard. Indeed the battlefield has shifted from the street to the internet.

In this island country, Philippines communication was quite difficult to deliver and usually what is delivered are fake news as Mainstream Media have the monoply of the print and the airwaves. But thanks to WWW
the island has been fused by social media as people share everything and anything.

When the present President won the 2016 Presidential election, i really
thought the country will transition to a new level of transformation. But no sooner than his SONA, the defeated LP had been hatching a plan to destabilize and replace the President with the VP.

One best thing is that 90% of the people are behind the President, me included lol. Without the people and social media, the elected president could have fallen victim to these destabilizers even if he overwhelmingly won in the election.

On my grandkid: Heres some pics this week of Kenshin while malling on Saturday.

Hasta la vista baby!

My World In A Week....

Its a small world especially in this digital era.

On the domestic front, my grandkid, Kenshin has shown tremenduous improvement in his attempts to at least walk. @8 months he can already stand by his own even from a siting position. He sorts of skipped the crawling phase. Looks like being breastfeed really has some generic advantages over formula preps which are suspected to be sourced from GMOs.

Here's Kenshin's video & pics:

I gotta say kenshin's cool kid and awesome!

Now, being a Dutertard and fulfilling my patriotic responsibility, i was suggesting to the President to declare a Revolutionary Govt. His presidency has been treacherously attacked from all side by these yellowshits in socmed and in MSM hurting mostly his and country's international image. These maneuvers has affected his much needed reforms to make the country go forward. Remember he's got only 6 yrs and this may not be enough.

Having the RevGov will speed up things blazingly fast sans the legal challenges and destabilizing attempts. Afterall, 90%+ of the people trust him.

In the global scene, the massacre in LV really looks like a falseflag case. Elsewhere, a truckbomb in Somalia killed 6 people and maybe more. Hurricane Ophelia may make an impact in Ireland and UK. Preparations have been underway to mitigate the impact. Catalonia calls for unity under pressure for the ultimatum posed by Rajoy.

TGIF: The Most Anticipated Day

Not much happened except that I was glad Thinking Pinoy did excellently in demolishing the yellowshits with their brand of destabilization through fake news.

This techie guy showed the senators and the world that the spreaders of fake news who were hiding in anonymity of the web can be traced especially if they monetized their sites. TP illustrated how they did it; exposing their credentials via their AdSense ID number. It showed that Kokey Dayao was the same man administering all the sites used in spreading fake news against the President with the help of few hands.

These identified people fled the online scene deleting everything but TP and Sass already made screen capture of everything to be used as evidence. They also failed to appear in the hearing  thus the presumption of guilt.

Anyway, as i was watching the hearing i was mutitasking too looking after my grandkid, Kenshin. You see this small guy is a Dutertard like his granpa.

Here is the proof: LOL

Hahaha Kenshin even posed(second pic) proudly smiling and confirming his being a bluebloodied DDS hahaha.

AUGUST 28, 2016 PAPA - HIS LIFE AS I SAW IT

I had awaken as the dream almost realistically told me he was bidding goodbye. In the silhouette of darkness, like a flash the image was gone.
I sat up and turned my face to where he slipped away. I was happy that at last he was free without the debilities that disfigured him with mumbled speech. I waved my hand to signal  godspeed journey. I suppose mama is eagerly waiting  him as well as his parents and close acquantances - to welcome him to their realm.

In my child’s eye, i saw him as a strong father who didnt hesitate to wield a strong hand to bring his kids to the path that he wished them to follow. I could understand him as he is a product of his generation. His orientation is likewise shaped by the generation before him and what his father probably instilled in him. He was a workaholic, and treated each day like it were the same. The seven days of the week were Monday, Monday, Monday, Monday, Monday, Monday, & Monday. How he took the energies to stay out working, i never knew. All i knew was that he had a lot of mouths to stuff food in. And those food does not grow by themselves. He probably knew that the needs of his family were growing - food, shelter, clothing, education, etc. In my young mind i could already see him as responsible and determined to give his family a better future than he had.

I remember him saying, “I want you all to study hard and get a degree. I dont want you to be farmers like me”. This sermon i heard over and over almost all weekends as we work in the field. I was in highschool that time and we would hurry home to give him some helping hand planting abaca, coconuts, rubber, and fruit trees. In my junior and senior years however, he mellowed on me and allowed me to stay on weekend in the next town where we were going to school. I could sense that he wanted me to top the class and finished highschool at the helm.I made him proud pinning those numerous medals on my shirt came graduation. He listened intently as i delivered my valedictory address.

OLD POST: MAY 1, 2014 BREAKING BAD PINOY VERSION

Somes notes from tonight, April 4, 2014:
I just finished my trade set ups and wanted to hit the bed, when a closed-van truck owned by a neighbor, pulled up to the adjacent lot next to my house. The clock read 11:15pm almost midnight. 6 or 7 men alighted and started unloading what looked like firewood to me. Then they set up the place putting a plastic canopy and  a sidecover perhaps for others not to see what they would do next.
The men worked systematically like each had an assigned task to do. Soon enough, a fire had been started and a bigpot was boiling, with the firewood constantly being added to keep the fire maintain the heat of the pot. What i always wondered, which by the way, took away the drowsiness in me, was what the hell were they doing and what was it they were cooking! My mind raced back to the American TV Series, "Breaking Bad". Was this a similar scheme -by some men trying to manufacture drugs for easy money?
I closed the door of the bathroom to prevent the lightpost from illuminating and reveal my position. The men kept turns driving the long, big laddle in circular motion, seemingly trying to mix the substance in the pot. One or two men men meanwhile, took turns too to guard the place, ever watchful of passers-by. Actually, their cooksite is quite secure and cannot be seen easily from the road, except from me since the windowbathroom is in a straightline view. They did a pretty good job and strategic planning where to position the truck and a mini-vehicle as such to block the view of whoever will be down the road.
The men did not sleep at all. They continued to do what they were doing the whole night. I went to sleep intermitently, peering whenever i was able to wake up. Toward dawn and almost daylight, i peered again and this time i saw the men slicing into different parts pork meat. I thought, what a cover! If they were butchering a pig, why it took them the whole night...and why didn't i hear a pig's cry? If the pig was already butchered, what were they cooking the whole night since they were still slicing the meat at daylight?
I stayed on trying to piece the puzzle. I tried to observe what the men would be doing next. Two women arrived and one asked if they had slept at all. The other woman attended to the sliced meat oblivious of anyone around her. By this time, some of the men were cleaning the pot; hosing down the place with water while one man came near the fence where the bathroom window is and where the mini-vehicle was parked. The man took the plastic coverings of what seemed to be from the front side of the vehicle and taped something unto them. He didnt replace the covers but put them all at the back. I surmised this could be a way to easily deliver the items  without anyone suspecting the merchandise were taped to the covers - now lying on the floor at the back of the vehicle!
The mini-vehicle left after an hour to deliver the merchandise with two men onboard. Those left behind con-
tinued to work on the meat. Soon many arrived and a party atmosphere began to take shape without knowing
it was a good camoflage and what a blessing to celebrate!
At this particular moment, i had no doubt "Breaking Bad" is actually happening right at my nosetip! No wonder these people could afford luxuries beyond their perceived financial capabilities. No wonder, these people appeared to be arrogant and disrespectful of neighbors' rights - like the excessive noise of their trucks even at midnight and keeping dogs which incessantly bark until into the wee hours.
I will continue to write about this everytime this cooking happens at my nosetip.... hoping that someday, somehow luck will deny them and throw them into the boiling pot of hell . As the saying goes, "You cannot hide a smoke...and where there's smoke, there's fire"

Old Post: March 23, 2014 THE POWER OF PRAYER

I will always be grateful for the rest of my life to Mother Mary!  23 yrs ago,  i thought i was gonna die. I had a terminal stage D cancer of the colon. I was operated and was advised to take chemo.  But something  told me, like a whisper,  that i should not continue doin chemo. So i stopped and gave my meds to the other patients and went to Lourdes in Southern France.

Lourdes really si such a holy place. You will feel it the moment you set  foot.  I felt right away that Mother Mary welcomed me into Her loving arms.  I felt soo secure and certain that i  need not worry about my health!
I stayed for two weeks in Lourdes talking to Mother Mary and listening to Her thru St. Bernadette. I tried to learn all the details of Her apparitions and what She told Bernadette during the  18 times that She appeared to her.

When i took the Holy Bath administered by those who served in Lourdes(mostly volunteers who were cured by miracles too) I knew i was completely healed. My whole body just heated up like a high energy had engulfed me! My sister, Emma who met me at the outside commented that i was sort of  "GLOWING". I was praying and at the same time thanking Mother Mary.

When i got to NY for a medical check up, the specialist didnt find any cancerous cell. I thought then....NOW AM GONNA LIVE 10 YRS! I remember crying at night imploring Mother Mary to give me a miracle of life for 10 yrs after my operation as i imagined  my little kids Laureen and Erwin to be able to finish their studies by then. That was 1988.

My Miracle had a funny side to it.  When i pleaded for 10 yrs life extension with Mother Mary, i was serious about it. Who wouldnt??  Then came June 13, 1998...exactly 10 yrs from the day i was operated.  I felt pain again...and the same pain i experienced the first time. I rushed to the hospital for check up with my mother, father and some brothers in tow. The colonoscopy showed lots of big polyps like bunches of lanzones that Dr. Tan stopped counting as he got to 22. He told me i was to be opened up the following day. So i didnt go home anymore. Everyone in the family was blaming me why i asked only for 10 yrs hahaha. I told them i was very grateful for the 10 yrs and if God will take me now, am too grateful!

Maybe because i wasnt angry nor pointed  a finger at God WHY.... another MIRACLE DID HAPPEN to me. Dr. Tan was very surprised when he opened me up.....those big polyps changed to tiny ones that the doctor only cauterized it. You see, GOD IS REALLY MERCIFUL!  The biopsy result showed benign. Therefore i didnt have to undergo chemo.

NOW ITS BEEN 13 YRS HENCE FROM THE SECOND OPERATION!!! AND 23 YRS FROM THE FIRST ONE!!!

THANKS BE TO GOD AND MOTHER MARY!!!

Ruby Tuesday: Love This Superloaded Seniors' Day!

This is awesome day for seniors. This is the day seniors feel important and acknowledged. We may be on our sunset trip but the wisdom and experiences we carried in our being are so immense, if only society could unlock and share our vast wealth of experiences, & knowledge, molded by years of interactions of trial & errors, hits and misses during our active years.

We simply cannot and should not be ignored just because we are old. Lets take for example the simple role of passing traditions and values. Parents due to the stress of making a living to feed their families and offer some luxuries, have barely a time to teach what they learn from their parents. They are too saddled with the pressure of providing the best of things sometimes forgetting the essentials like GMC and real values these kids need to possess so important to become good adults.

So the Grandpas who've got all the time in the world and who are retired, should take the role of a passer like a good  team player. Those things like values, beliefs and even superstitions need to be  passed on to excite them. I remember my eyes would twinkle listening to stories then by my uncles and grandpas;

Now back to today being seniors' day, as mandated by law, we are free in all movie houses. I love this day as I get to go out to the malls and indulge in my fave things like coffee, good conversations with oldie friends aside from the good movies. I kinda laugh to myself inside the movies seeing other seniors falling asleep and snoring instead lol. Probably, the movies were boring or they succumbed to drowsiness as most oldies are prone to. Maybe i too will be like them when i get so old like into the 90's.

So i bestow upon myself this role to my grankids esp Maryam & Zainab who are gowing fast in American  culture. I dont want them to lose the Filipino in them! I wish when they grow up they'd embrace the Pinoy heart and mind. But looks like they do already!

Well, here are some pics of the 3. Kenshin juz today, Maryam & Zainab from 2012.

Till next post😉😊😍

Manic Monday But Not Really...

Spending time with Kenshin, playin with him teaching him new moves and speech as well as sing some Farmees nursery songs - his faves. And he would tap his fingers and rock a bit his head. I find him funny. So lighthearted and easy to laugh. The only time he cries is when he feels hungry  and sleepy. When he cries while rubbing his eyes, he's indicating he's sleepy😁

I got him a funny pic too when he felt pooping hahaha i had the big laugh lookin at him.

Hahahaha gotcha!

Happy New Year 2023!!! Hope to find time this year to get back to blogging😞 The world is in turmoil with the war in Ukraine getting me wo...
